PECO SCENIC BACKGROUND SHEETS
The perfect finishing touch for your layout
each sheet measures 22" x 7" [560 x 175mm]
a series of authentic backgrounds beautifully printed in full colour. The scenes are designed so that they can be joined together for a continuous changing background. Will work for most gauges but scenes with buildings are more suitable for N gauge
SK- 31 ,32 , 33,35,36,43,44 Country/ Mountainous scenes are completely compatible together i.e. they will link together and match up perfectly end to end in any combination.
SK-37,40,45,49 City Centre/ Docks/ Industrial Town/ Market Town scenes will only match up with themselves; if you want to put them along side a country/mountainous scene then you will need the relevant extensions sheet SK-38,41,46,50 to put between the scenes, simply cut it in half and attach the left half of the extension sheet to the right half, of the matching scene, and visa versa.

[to be used with the SK-45] you will need this sheet to sit between the industrial scene [SK-45] and any country/mountanious scene, simply cut it in half and attach the left half of the extension sheet to the right half, of the matching scene, and visa versa.

The Sky sheet is not compatible with any other it will only sit side by side itself , or indeed above any scene, having said that anyone that is handy with a craft knife can cut them and make their own designs!
Conversion Sheet SK-34
While the other backgrounds in this series are complete in themselves and interchange-able, each end matching the other, this sheet will give you further variations to your backscene by cutting out the four sections and mounting them on top of the other scenes in appropriate positions.There is large hill scene with the group of cottages can either be used intact, covering the left side of the lake, or cut down to the second height of the hills to cover another area. The lower level, including the cottage group can a also be cut out, and the road suitably positioned on the backscene featuring a road running across; this can be made to look as though the road on the backscene runs behind a hill and with an imaginary sharp bend suddenly appears on the cut-out scene running down to the cottages. The cutout scene with the river can be positioned in several places, with the oth er backscenes, and could join up with a modelled river on the baseboard. The tree and hedging end pieces can be cut out and positioned over the backscene sheet joins or anywhere else to suit. These are but a few ways the complete scenes can be varied with the use of this sheet.
